We Love the Outside

 Ellie loves, loves, being outside and playing in the grass. And now that she can scoot around and explore it's even more fun for her.

A few weeks ago James and I got the itch to work on our flower bed area. Makes us laugh because there were so many other things that needed to get done first, but it was fun to do and now we can enjoy it.

It was a whole day of working in the yard, so of course, Ellie and I supervised between naps.

 

6 month photoshoot

Ellie turned 6 months 2 weeks ago. We've been so busy with moving/painting/trip to AZ that I'm really behind on pictures. She also has hit a lot of milestones this month that I can't wait to share on here. But, one thing at a time.

Here are some pictures from her 6 month photoshoot. Ellie is still the light of our life. We just love her to pieces. She is so fun and I couldn't have asked for a better baby.

Belated April Fools

When my sister was in town after Ellie was born she told me I should wrap a rubber band around the sink sprayer for April Fools. But, April Fools came and went and I never got around to it. Later, our sink faucet started to spray a small stream of water when it was on and it drove me nuts. I finally asked James to fix it and took that opportunity to pull the joke. This was in our rental home before we moved.

P.S. This was right before he left for his soccer game.

Funeral

James' Grandpa is an amazing man. After Grandma passed away in 2011 he married her best friend. She passed way this May after 9 months of marriage. He was devoted to helping her finish her life with joy and love.

The funeral was in Rexburg, only a few hours from us. So we drove there that morning and back that night. Ellie did great in the car. I sat in the back with her a little bit to entertain her because I felt bad, but she was great.
