I am a little behind on blogging about James' Birthday last month.
It was a big one.
three-oh!
I wanted to do something special for James' dessert so my friend, Emily, helped me make a homemade German Chocolate Cake which turned out so good. It is our favorite type of cake and it was absolutely delicious!!
(Note the candles-I did some great planning ahead and instead of wasting my money on candles, I, ummm, pulled some Glade ones from a drawer. They glowed bigger and brighter than any candle I could have bought anyways).
Unfortunately, his birthday landed on a Tuesday, I am not a fan of weekday birthdays, so we went out for his birthday dinner that weekend to the restaurant North. We had never been there before. It was yummy.
I feel so blessed to me married to James. James is such a special person and has a big heart. He enjoys life, sports, school, church and on top of it all, he is a great husband, friend, brother, son and uncle. He always has a smile on his face and makes people happy. I sure am lucky to be married to such a great person.
I love you James, Happy Birthday!!
